This project supported technology teachers in identifying their own good practice and sharing that practice with others. Selected K-12 teachers in Western Australia were supported to develop professional learning modules as examples of their own good pedagogic practice in Technology Education. Support and feedback was provided in the collection and analysis of data to vindicate the good practice and to prepare and deliver a professional learning module for other teachers. The learning package should be shared in the ‘expert’ teacher’s own school and communities of practice, within an online environment, and then at the showcase event open to all teachers (the WA Technology & Enterprise conference). Initial ideas were presented and refined at the 2007 professional learning event, and then final presentations were made at the 2008 professional learning event. You can access the professional learning module materials at the online database: Project Online Database |
